This is one we can vouch for! We use the same base model in our workshop. It has been running for a minimum of 1 hour per working day, for the last 2 years. Still going strong, and filling fast. Highly recommended! This is a model we have cherry picked for it's reliability. There are very few compressors on the market that we can confidently say will give you years of trouble free service, but this is definitely one of them.

The incredible GX-CS3, complete with some factory tweaks specifically for this UK specific model, same as the BSA compressor. This Portable PCP Airgun Compressor is an efficient and cost-effective solution for airgun users looking to fill their cylinders without relying on manual pumps or cumbersome air tanks. Designed for both home and field use, this compact, lightweight compressor offers dual power options and dependable performance for small-capacity airgun cylinders. While monitoring during operation is necessary, this unit is a practical entry-level choice for those seeking convenience at an accessible price.

Key Features

  • Versatile Power Options: Operates via a 240v mains connection at home or a 12v car battery in the field, giving you maximum flexibility.
  • Automatic Pressure Shutoff: Set your desired pressure on the gauge, and the compressor will stop once the target pressure is reached to prevent overfilling.
  • Lightweight & Portable: Weighing only 10kg, this unit is easy to transport—ideal for range trips or outdoor hunting.
  • User-Friendly Design: Features an intuitive analogue pressure gauge, along with a quick-disconnect (QD) fill line for effortless operation.
  • Low Maintenance: Oil-free lubrication eliminates the need for complex upkeep, while occasional inspections ensure continued reliability.
  • Quiet & Efficient: Designed for low-vibration operation, with built-in air cooling to maintain steady performance.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power Off: Ensure the power switch is in the “off” position before connecting to a power source.
  2. Connect Power:
    • For mains use, plug the 240v cable into a standard socket.
    • For field use, connect crocodile clamps to a 12v car battery (red to positive, black to negative). Never use both power sources at the same time.
  3. Set Desired Pressure: Adjust the spindle on the gauge to select the proper fill pressure. Always check your airgun’s specifications to avoid exceeding safe levels.
  4. Attach Fill Line:
    • Connect the Foster QD fitting to your airgun’s cylinder.
    • If your airgun uses a threaded probe, attach a QD adapter (sold separately).
  5. Power On: Flip the switch to activate the compressor; the cooling fan should start running.
  6. Begin Filling: Press the silver start button to initiate the fill process, monitoring the pressure gauge for accuracy.
  7. Regular Bleeding: Every five minutes, pause operation and release accumulated moisture using the knurled bleed valve.
  8. Cool Down Periods: If filling takes longer than 10 minutes, stop the compressor and allow it to cool for 2-3 minutes before resuming. Bleed the system during each break.
  9. Complete Filling: Once the target pressure is reached, the compressor will shut off automatically. Power down and disconnect the fill line.
  10. Storage: After use, disconnect from the power source and store in a dry, cool location.

  • Limit continuous use to no more than 10 minutes, allowing a 2-3 minute cooling period between sessions.
  • Best suited for airgun cylinders under 300cc.
  • Always connect to either mains or 12v—never both at once.
  • Perform regular inspections and consider professional maintenance for long-term reliability.
